was born in Paris, grew up in France and Wales and lives in Cornwall. She is of French/Welsh/Indian heritage. Her eighth collection, Tiger Girl, published by Bloodaxe in 2020, won a Royal Society of Literature 'Literature Matters' award while in progress and a poem from the book won the Keats-Shelley Poetry Prize. Her seventh collection, Mama Amazonica (Bloodaxe, 2017), won the Royal Society of Literature's Ondaatje Prize 2018, was a Poetry Book Society Choice and was shortlisted for the Roehampton Poetry Prize. Four of Pascale's earlier collections were shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize.
