Natasha Carthew

is a working class Country Writer from Cornwall. She has written two books of poetry, four acclaimed novels; Winter Damage, The Light That Gets Lost and Only the Ocean (Bloomsbury Books) All Rivers Run Free (Quercus) and her latest Song for the Forgotten (National Trust Books). Natasha writes extensively on the subject of Wild Writing and Working Class Fiction, including Writers' & Artists' Yearbook, The Bookseller, Book Brunch, Radio 3 & 4, The Guardian, The Big Issue and the Dark Mountain Project. Natasha is also the Artistic Director for the Festival for Working Class Writers, as part of the Festival of Ideas, 2021.
