Jacky Garratt

has had a range of jobs. Latterly, and for the longest spell, she was a doctor in the NHS, specialising in psychiatry. Ironically, medicine made her ill, so she had to give it up. She is now retired, and the many notebooks she has filled during her life are beginning to see the light of day. She has become a published songwriter and lyricist. This is her first published piece of fiction.
