I am extremely passionate about creative writing, particularly poetry and spoken word. I have spent the last 3 years studying at Falmouth University for a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. I was fortunate to gain my internship from the Charles Causley trust in my 2nd year and come runner up for the Red Robe poetry award. I have been a contributor poet and writer for the book, 26 Places In Cornwall and I have recently contributed to the new poetry book The Moor Dwellers published by the Cornwall Heritage Trust in collaboration with the Cornish Folklore Project. I am also one of the voluntary writers for the project Women In Cornwall with the Hypatia Trust. I write about a variety of themes, but mostly Cornwall, the landscape, wildlife, nature and topics of domestic violence and healing.
