Explore Hypatia’s collection through the lens of November’s Resident Artist, Deep Time Moving.

Kyra Norman is an artist, dancer, choreographer and DJ based in West Cornwall. Deep Time Moving is a long-term, multidisciplinary art work exploring dance and geology as complementary ways of knowing, and experiencing, time, place and change.

During her November residency, Kyra will be spending time with, and sharing, her personal archive of writing, images, sound and movement amassed through Deep Time Moving research and practice so far; bringing those materials into a productive conversation with the diverse materials within the Hypatia collection — finding serendipitous overlaps, contrasting ways of seeing time, place and change, and new understandings of these themes.
