We would like to thank the supporters who make donations to The Hypatia Trust via the donations link on our website. Some of you are making regular donations and we are very grateful for your support. You have helped us to increase and improve our work to promote the history and achievements of women in our community and further afield.

Two particular examples are the Cornwall Artists’ Index and the relatively new Women in Cornwall archive. Both of these were Melissa’s ideas. They were commissioned, built professionally, and are maintained, by The Hypatia Trust, and are proving to be invaluable reference sites, both nationally and internationally.

Like many organisations, we have felt the impact of a difficult financial environment, and inflation means it costs more to do the same as we did a few years ago. In fact our enthusiastic and talented team are managing to do considerably more than we used to, both in-house and online. I would like to appeal to supporters who have not already done so to scroll down to the donations link at the bottom of this page and, if you are able, make a contribution. You can make one-off donations, or donate a regular amount at set intervals. If you are a British taxpayer, you can add Gift Aid to your donations, which enables us to claim an extra 25p on every £1 which you donate. We would be grateful for any donations, large or small.
